1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using any part of the NLTC platform — including the website, student dashboard, CBT tools, live classes, video lessons, and all related features — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the platform. NLTC reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
2. Students Under 18
NLTC is built for exam candidates, and most of our students are under 18. If you are under 18, you may only use the platform with the knowledge and permission of a parent or legal guardian, and that parent or guardian must read and accept these terms with you.
- By allowing a child to register, a parent or guardian agrees to these terms on that child's behalf and accepts responsibility for the account, including all payments made through it and all activity carried out under it.
- A parent or guardian may ask us at any time to review, correct, export or delete their child's account and data by writing to the contact address at the end of this document.
- If we learn that an account was opened for a child without the required permission, we may suspend it until a parent or guardian confirms the position.
- Nothing in these terms transfers to NLTC any responsibility for the supervision of a child's general use of the internet, their device, or the time they spend studying.
3. Accounts and Registration
To access most features of NLTC, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Keep your password secure and not share it with others.
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
- Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.
NLTC reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information, violate these terms, or are used for unauthorized purposes.
4. Our Services
NLTC provides educational services to help Nigerian students prepare for JAMB, WAEC, NECO, BECE, and other examinations. Our services include:
- Video lessons recorded by qualified educators.
- CBT practice sessions with past questions and subject-specific content.
- Live interactive classes with certified tutors.
- Study tools including topic-based quizzes, mock exams, and quick tests.
- Progress tracking, leaderboards, XP systems, and achievement badges.
- Announcements, schedules, and community features.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or service at any time with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of services.
5. Payments, Plans, and Refunds
Certain features of NLTC require a paid subscription or one-time lesson fee. By making a payment, you agree to the following:
- Subscription plans: The Pro plan unlocks premium content including all video lessons and live class access. Plan fees are charged as described on the platform at the time of purchase.
- Lesson fees (physical students): Physical students enrolled at an NLTC centre may be required to pay a one-time lesson activation fee before accessing certain digital resources.
- Payment method: Fees are paid by bank transfer to the NLTC account shown on the platform. After transferring, you upload proof of payment and an NLTC administrator confirms it — usually within 2 hours — at which point your access is activated. NLTC never asks for and never stores your card details.
- Refunds: No payment made on the platform is refundable. Every payment — Pro subscriptions, lesson fees and renewals alike — is final once completed, and we do not issue refunds, part-refunds or credits, however much of the service you used. Please try the free tier before you pay. See our Refund Policy for the full details.
- Price changes: NLTC may change subscription pricing at any time. Changes will not affect your current billing period but will apply on renewal.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use NLTC only for lawful, educational purposes. The following are strictly prohibited:
- Sharing your account login with others or allowing unauthorized access.
- Attempting to bypass, hack, or exploit any security feature of the platform.
- Copying, downloading, distributing, or reselling NLTC content without written permission.
- Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or scrape the platform.
- Submitting false information, impersonating another person, or creating fake accounts.
- Posting offensive, abusive, or inappropriate content in live class chats or any community feature.
- Disrupting live sessions or interfering with other students' experience.
- Using the platform for any commercial purpose without authorization from NLTC.
Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account without refund.
7. Messaging, Moderation and Conduct Reports
The platform lets students message each other directly and in groups. Messaging is a convenience for studying together; it is not a private communications service, and you should treat it accordingly.
- Message requests. The first message from someone you have not spoken to waits in a requests tray until you accept it. You may decline any request without giving a reason. Declining closes the conversation to both sides.
- You are responsible for what you send. Messages, images and files you send are yours, not ours. NLTC does not endorse them and is not responsible for them.
- Reporting. Any member of a conversation may report it to us. When a conversation is reported, a complete copy of that conversation — including messages you have deleted from your own view — is sent to NLTC for investigation, and every participant is treated as having consented to that by using the messaging feature. You should not send anything through NLTC messaging that you would not be willing to have reviewed by our staff.
- Retention. A reported conversation is retained for as long as we need it to investigate and to answer any complaint, regulatory query or legal claim arising from it, and may be disclosed to a parent or guardian, a school, or a law-enforcement or regulatory authority where we reasonably consider that appropriate.
- Moderation is not a guarantee. We review reports and act on them, but we do not pre-screen messages and we cannot promise to see every problem or to see it quickly. NLTC is not liable for the conduct of one user towards another.
- Consequences. Conduct we consider abusive, threatening, sexual, discriminatory, commercial or otherwise contrary to section 6 may result in the loss of messaging, suspension or permanent termination, in each case without refund.
8. Live Classes
Live classes are delivered over a third-party real-time video service and may use your device's camera and microphone, with your permission, so that you can take part.
- Live sessions, including the chat and any whiteboard activity within them, may be recorded by NLTC for teaching, quality and safeguarding purposes. By joining a session you consent to being recorded.
- You must not record, screenshot, stream or redistribute a live class yourself, or share access to one with anyone outside the platform.
- Class times, tutors and subject coverage may change, and a session may be cancelled or cut short. We will try to give notice, but we cannot guarantee it, and a missed or shortened session does not create a right to a refund.
- Live classes depend on your own internet connection, device and power supply. NLTC is not responsible for a session you could not join or complete for reasons on your side of the connection.
- You must behave in a live class as you would in a physical classroom. We may remove you from a session, mute you, or bar you from future sessions for disruptive behaviour.
9. Practice Exams and Exam Integrity
Our CBT practice, mock exams, quizzes and competitions are study tools, and some of them are scored, ranked and rewarded with XP, badges, leaderboard positions or prizes. To keep those meaningful:
- While an exam-mode sitting is open, the platform monitors for behaviour associated with cheating — including leaving the exam screen or switching away from the app — and may warn you, record the event, or submit your paper automatically. By starting a sitting you consent to this monitoring for the duration of the sitting.
- You must not use another person, a second device, an AI assistant, or any external material during a sitting that is presented as timed or scored, unless we say otherwise.
- We may void any result, remove any XP, badge, leaderboard position or prize, and suspend any account, where we reasonably believe a sitting was not completed honestly. Our decision on this is final.
- Scores, ranks and predictions on NLTC are practice indicators only. They are not issued by JAMB, WAEC, NECO or any examination body, they carry no official standing, and they are not a forecast or guarantee of your result in a real examination.
10. Reviews, Testimonials and Other Submissions
You may be invited to review the platform or to send us feedback, a testimonial, a photograph of a result, or a video story. Where you do:
- You confirm that what you submit is your own honest experience, is accurate, and does not infringe anyone else's rights or contain anyone else's personal information without their permission.
- You grant NLTC a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual and irrevocable licence to use, reproduce, edit for length or clarity, publish and display your submission — including on this website, in the app, and in our marketing — together with your first name, last initial, class or exam, and profile picture. You are not entitled to any payment for this.
- You may ask us to remove a published review or testimony at any time and we will do so within a reasonable period. That does not oblige us to recall material already printed or distributed.
- We may decline to publish, or may remove, any submission — for example one that is abusive, defamatory, off-topic, promotional, or that we cannot verify. Choosing not to publish a review is not a judgement about the person who wrote it.
- We do not pay for reviews and we do not condition access, discounts or prizes on leaving a favourable one.
- Any idea, suggestion or improvement you send us may be used freely by NLTC without obligation or compensation.
11. The Mobile Application
NLTC publishes an Android application. Until it is listed on Google Play it is distributed from this website as an installable .apk file.
- The app is licensed to you, not sold. The licence is personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable, and it ends when your account does.
- Install only the copy served from nltc.com.ng or from an official app store listing operated by us. NLTC is not responsible for any build of the app obtained from any other source, and we disclaim all liability for a modified, repackaged or third-party copy.
- Installing an application from outside an app store requires you to permit installation from that source on your device. That is a decision for you — or, if you are under 18, for your parent or guardian — and it is made at your own risk. We recommend leaving your device's built-in protection switched on.
- We do not warrant that the app will run on every device, Android version, or network, and features may differ between the app and the website.
- We may release updates and may stop supporting older versions. Some features may stop working on a version you do not update.
- The app collects device and diagnostic information when you send us a bug report, so that we can reproduce the problem. See our Privacy Policy.
12. Content and Accuracy
NLTC strives to provide accurate and up-to-date educational content. However:
- We do not guarantee that all content is error-free, complete, or perfectly aligned with every exam body's current syllabus.
- Past questions in our database are sourced from publicly available materials and third-party providers. We make reasonable efforts to verify accuracy but cannot guarantee correctness in every instance.
- Live class schedules, tutor availability, and content may change without prior notice.
- NLTC is not liable for exam outcomes or academic results. Our platform is a study aid, not a guarantee of success.
13. Intellectual Property
All content on the NLTC platform — including video lessons, study materials, quiz questions, designs, logos, and software — is the property of Next Level Tutorial College or its licensed content partners.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use content strictly for your own personal study purposes. You may not reproduce, publish, redistribute, or create derivative works from NLTC content without express written permission.
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you submit to NLTC may be used by us to improve the platform without any obligation to compensate you.
14. Third-Party Services
NLTC is built on services we do not operate. Among others, we use Google Firebase for accounts, data and notifications, a third-party real-time video provider for live classes, a licensed payment processor for card and transfer payments, and third-party video hosts for lessons.
- Your use of those services through NLTC is also subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
- An outage, defect, price change or discontinuation by any of them may interrupt or end a feature of NLTC. We will do what we reasonably can, but we are not liable for the acts or omissions of a third-party provider.
- Where the platform links to an external site or resource, we do not control it and do not endorse it.
15. Availability, Interruptions and Events Outside Our Control
We aim to keep NLTC available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Access may be suspended for maintenance, upgrades, security, or for reasons beyond our reasonable control — including power failure, loss of internet or mobile connectivity, network or hosting failure, industrial action, civil disruption, government action, epidemic, fire or flood.
We are not liable for any loss arising from an interruption of that kind, and an interruption does not extend a subscription period or create a right to a refund except where we say so in writing.
We may also change, add or withdraw features at any time. Where a change removes something significant that you have paid for, we will act reasonably and in good faith about the remainder of your paid period.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- NLTC is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure access to the platform at all times.
- NLTC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the platform.
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms or your use of NLTC shall not exceed the amount you paid to NLTC in the three months preceding the claim.
17. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Next Level Tutorial College, its directors, staff, tutors and contractors against any claim, demand, loss, damage, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with:
- your breach of these terms or of any applicable law;
- anything you send, post or share through the platform, including messages, files, reviews and live-class contributions;
- your infringement of the intellectual property or other rights of any person; or
- use of your account by anyone you allowed, or negligently permitted, to use it.
Where the account holder is under 18, this obligation rests with the parent or guardian who accepted these terms on their behalf.
18. Termination
You may stop using NLTC at any time. To delete your account, contact us at nextleveltutorialcollege@gmail.com.
NLTC may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these terms, engage in conduct that harms other users or the platform, or for any other reason at our reasonable discretion. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any fees already paid.
19. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of NLTC, are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
If something goes wrong, please raise it with us first at the contact address below — most complaints are resolved that way, and we would rather fix a problem than argue about it. If we cannot resolve it between us within 30 days, the dispute shall be submitted to the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Nothing in these terms removes any right you have under Nigerian consumer protection or data protection law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
20. General
- Entire agreement. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Cookie Policy, are the whole agreement between you and NLTC about the platform, and replace anything said or written beforehand.
- Severability. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
- No waiver. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we do not lose it.
- Assignment. You may not transfer your account or your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours to a successor of the business, on notice to you.
- No partnership. Nothing here makes you and NLTC partners, employer and employee, or agents of one another.
- Third parties. Nobody other than you and NLTC has any right to enforce these terms.
- Survival. Sections on intellectual property, liability, indemnity, governing law and this section survive the ending of your account.
- Notices. We may give you notice through the platform, by push notification, or by email to the address on your account. It is your responsibility to keep that address current.
21. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and may notify you through the platform. Your continued use of NLTC after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms.
