- Daily streak tracking: A localStorage key records whether you have completed a daily activity to prevent duplicate XP awards.

We may use analytics tools to understand how students navigate and use the platform. This data is aggregated and anonymised — it is used to improve the NLTC experience, not to identify individual users.

- Feature usage patterns (e.g., which subjects are most practised).

- Google / Firebase: Authentication, Firestore database, and Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications). Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Paystack: When you make a payment, Paystack's checkout page sets cookies necessary to process and secure your transaction. Governed by Paystack's Privacy Policy.
- Agora: Used to power live interactive classes. Agora's SDK may store session data in browser memory during a live class. Governed by Agora's Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts: We load fonts from Google Fonts, which may set cookies related to font delivery. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Local Storage & Session Storage
In addition to cookies, NLTC uses your browser's localStorage and sessionStorage to store data locally on your device. This data is never transmitted to our servers automatically and is used to:
- Cache CBT question data and recent results for faster performance.
- Store your daily streak timestamp so we can award XP correctly.
- Remember in-progress quiz sessions in case of accidental page refresh.
- Store your last CBT score temporarily when switching between pages.
You can clear localStorage data at any time through your browser's developer tools or by clearing your browser's site data for nltc.com.ng.
5. Your Choices and Controls
You have several ways to manage cookies and local storage:
